Pros

Good benefits Competitive Salary Good culture A lot of opportunity for growth if you're a good soldier. Make sure your manager's manager knows you want to move up.

Cons

After merger, culture is now all about the bottom line instead of the people. Growth has slowed down as the company gets bigger.

Greed Has Destroyed This Company

Pros

This used to be a focused, customer-centric company when Don Duford was in charge. The culture was employee-friendly which led to better customer service (yes, there IS a link). People felt listened to and valued.

Cons

Since the merger with MCS, it has been all downhill. Joe Delaney is an ego-centric individual who doesn't know how to do anything but listen to the sound of his own voice. I'm glad he is finally gone. He once stood up in a town hall meeting and said there were no plans for a lay-off while the severance documents were already in queue. Such a liar. He closed an entire building in Titusville FL because he "likes everyone in one office". He didn't give a hoot about all the people he was putting out of work. The cost of health insurance went up to the point where the care coordinator's were working almost exclusively to pay for their benefits.

Pros

Company was great at first. I was trained 1:1 with a mentor and learned the company from the ground up. Had several promotions and made lots of friends. Was home-like environment. Then, the company started doing acquisitions. See CONS.

Cons

After the company started getting into acquisitions, they could not stop and ran the company into the ground. Key management personnel who the employees trusted were let go. Promises were made as to raises and educational resources and training. Then a new boss would come in and act like he knew nothing about it. Teams that were succeeding were broken up and benefits were ridiculous. The benefits changes practically every year for the past 7 years. Leaving uncertainty about being able to keep your job and being able to take care of your family. Not a good place to be loyal and plan to retire from.
