Pros

you are in downtown chicago.

Cons

almost entirely the company itself. They go into the interview telling you X agent can make this and sell you this dream that 3 a day makes the money come in. In reality retention and other factors come in it leaves you with no time to even check what youre making. youre playing this game of i hope they dont change. All about the next sale. and that means morale sales too. meaning it is all about a fopreformaod card even though entire medical costs for the beneficiary would skyrocket. they have become a money hungry brokerage. preform you can get all the free time and favortism.. have a bad week or two then youre the problem. but welcome to corporate

Pros

The only pro was I met some of the best people ever.

Cons

This job is one of the worst jobs I've ever had. You are constantly being watched and get yelled at every five minutes if you're not on a call. If this is your only job you have heard back from, don't waste your time interviewing for it because it may seem okay from the outside but every single person hates their life working there. Management makes everyone lives miserable. Don't work here!

Pros

There is the potential to earn a lot of money, but you have to be a top salesman. The people on your team is truly what keeps you there, I made a lot of friends.

Cons

Very high pressure - if you weren't performing, you were severely micromanaged and after a couple weeks/months you were placed on a PIP if your performance didn't improve. Management tracked everything you did, anytime you left your desk, you had to switch your status to 'personal' - you get 30 minutes a day and this includes bathroom breaks. Your bonus for sales is dependent on client plan retention - your client had to stay on a plan for one month (the first of the month following when the plan went active) and you are allowed little to no time to do retention work, so your bonus is never as good as you think it will be.
