Its very unorganized. Your manager may not have a clue what you are doing. There isnt a "formal" process of doing implementations. It will take almost 1 year to actually be good at your job by the pace of things. Some people have been here for 9 months and they only had 1:1 with their managers once.

Employees are highly under compensated, benefits are poor, top performers are under appreciated and over worked, family favorites trump performance, too many political games, lack of training and poor internal/external communication skills.

Growing is challenging, it takes hard work, communication and innovation. You may work harder than you have before, but your work is recognized and rewarded. OSV is for driven professionals who want to work with the best and be a part of building something bigger than yourself. As with any hyper growth organization, there is some pain that goes with the gain.

Experiencing some growing pains. The Workday market is growing at such a rapid pace that it is difficult to hire qualified employees quickly enough.

Training new hires quickly and efficiently

Values aren't enforced for everyone. Middle management ignores values but demands employees follow. No accountability!!! FAVORITISM! No growth opportunities unless you're in right circles. Health insurance extremely high unless you're single. Promised overtime in interview but yet this was restricted to no more than 1 hour after being hired. Lack of direction, inexperienced leadership, processes are non-existent and no formal training. No support from management. Workload too excessive and hostile environment. Communication from management to employees needs to improve. No communication between departments. Customer Success tears down employees in front of customers. HR department does not engage with employees, does not setup benefits timely, nor responds to inquiries-instead they leave employees hanging. Several employees were lead to believe they had benefits since they were paying for them but when went to use, they found never setup.

Company is in a hyper-growth mode. If you haven't worked in this environment, it might be challenging. Expect a lot of changes. If you can adapt to change and love being part of constant growth, check out OSV's open job positions.

Because the company is growing so quickly, there are not many set policies and procedures or training manuals in place (especially since they would have to be continually updated) - but the company knows they need to make that a priority, and functions very well.
