Thank you for sharing your experience. It's great to learn you've enjoyed working with talented people, felt recognized for your work, and grown while building and developing. As an employer, OneTrust strives to make these things a reality for every employee while helping deliver an excellent product to our thousands of customers globally.
With the exciting evolution of data and AI, we recognize that comes with change internally at OneTrust as well, and it's not always the right environment for everyone. For those who are excited to roll up their sleeves, build, and make a real world impact, OneTrust is a great place to work. We are also introducing a new monthly All Hands cadence this year to ensure all employees globally are hearing from our executive leaders regularly. We look forward to what's to come in FY27.
This is a startup company and recruiters do a solid job of explaining what to expect in your role here. Simply put, it's no walk in the park. There is a lot of work to do; there may be long days and some weekend work, but it can be extremely fulfilling and rewarding.
Pros:
On the spot feedback, meaning I go to bed with little to no anxiety.
This is a solid place to build skills.
Work/life balance is great. Time management is key, but it works for me and my family really well.
Compensation package: OT sets high expectations and compensates well for it.
Covid response: I don't know of any company that has had a perfect response to Covid, but OT comes very close. I've been working from home since early this year and feel perfectly safe, despite the rising numbers of Covid cases.
There is also the option to go into the office if necessary (example: recent hurricane killing our power for days).
Cons
I don't really have any, but I will say, the amount of information provided during your first month on the job may feel overwhelming, but from my experience, there was plenty of time and support given to absorb all of it.
Bootcamp was also pretty helpful.
