Pros

Can take lunch whenever you see fit to your schedule. Commission structure.

Cons

Lack of trust from management. Micromanaging. Not a team oriented culture. Expected to work weekends even after putting in 50 hour work week.

Pros

I found my time at SmartIT to be a wonderful and enjoyable experience. The work was challenging and demanding at times, but the management team had reasonable expectations, and were honest and consistent in their feedback, and I can say nothing but they dealt fairly with me throughout my nearly 9 years there.

Cons

The company has went through a number of changes due to some realignment of company goals and management approach. As a result, people who might have fit in well 5 years ago are not as good a fit today. That is to be expected in any growing business, you can't please everyone. But I found there everyone was given a chance, and was handled professionally even if they choose to depart.
