Pros

My coworkers, 401K, insurance and options (for some).

Cons

Leadership has unrealistic expectations regarding working in the office = productivity and higher output; old and set in their ways. Internal & external communication is a joke. There’s an abyssal lack of engagement activities for employees. And nonexistent growth & training opportunities that would have a high ROI. There are very few women in leadership and a boy’s club culture, in addition to below market pay.

Pros

Fair pay, great CEO, snacks, catered lunches once a week, plenty of work to do which makes time go by fast.

Cons

The structure is still very “rigid”. Expect a NO on any sort of question you might ask management. Although you get salary, there is an underlying message of “you should be working 10-11 hours a day and work through lunch” and I don’t think that’s fair. During the recruiting process, the recruiter says it’s very possible to transfer within the company. After starting you learn that’s not true at all.

We are sorry to hear you didn’t have a favorable experience at Onit. Our Leadership strives to create work life balance for our employees, but like most companies there are peaks in our business that require us to lean in when needed. Feedback and suggestions are always welcomed and encouraged. Last year we implemented a quarterly eNPS survey as a way for Leadership to understand our current organizational health while getting inputs for improvements. Our employees growth and development is very important and as a way to fostering growth we’ve accommodated transfers within Onit and SimpleLegal when the opportunity arises and skillsets meet the requirements of the role.
