Pros

- It starts out nice. There were great coworkers and some of the managers were helpful. - Snacks, happy hour and free massage - You get assigned various tasks. Doesn't matter your position, you can try a bit of everything.

Cons

- They have way too many products, which isn't a bad thing, but they do not try to improve the products. When you give them feedback about a certain product, they don't care. All they care about is making money and it's super unethical. They are getting into a bunch of legal issues as well. If you search up KidGuard scam, you will see all those complaints. - The pay is not ideal. Foreigners are getting paid less than they should and as another review mentioned, Taiwanese are getting paid even less. - Don't expect people to teach you much. A lot of people don't even know what they are doing. You are asked to do a little of everything (which can be good) but, when you ask for help, no one knows what is going on. - The CEO likes to message people on weekends or late at night. You do not get any overtime pay, but you are expected to attend meetings at anytime of the day and possibly even work on weekends. No clocking in or clocking out so the schedule is somewhat flexible, but don’t expect additional pay for your hard work. - The CEO favors foreigners or expats and often has special events where only part of the office is invited. Expats get to attend a dinner where none of the taiwanese workers are invited. There was one event where part of the office went and the other half didn’t. So part of the workers get paid to have fun, while the others stayed in the office and actually did work. - Management/HR has been unprofessional. Most of them are nice people. A lot of them will listen to what you have to say, but then they take no action. As long as they favor someone, they will overlook any crucial mistakes. Also, HR seems to be unfamiliar with labor rules and does not take employee feedback seriously. When management decides to fire employees, it seems most of it is personal rather than performance based.
