Pros

- A generally friendly work environment with a good sense of humor in the office. - Free snacks and coffee, with regular treats - Staff parties with drinks and games

Cons

- Exploitative CEO who purposefully pays below-legal wages to non-Americans/non-Europeans (Latin-American staff and local Taiwanese are on almost half of what Taiwanese labor law stipulates as a legal wage, regardless of qualifications or experience) - CEO actively engages in seriously unethical business practices regarding the abuse of consumer data for credit-based services; happily sells spy cameras and phone spying software to encourage parents to spy on their children and spouses to spy on their partners, with little regard to ethical implications, as long as there's a dollar to be made. - Complete disinterest in employee concerns regarding business practice and direction. Your job is to listen to what the higher management (CEO) wants, regardless of whether the position is senior or not. - Numerous complaints about many of the issues stated above were brought to management and ignored. "Profit over people" explains Onramp's overall mentality and incredibly high turnover rate.
