Pros

Great memories of working here in the past. Talented peers and engineers across teams. Solid engineering foundations built over the years.

Cons

Leadership & Management: The company recently lost some of its strongest and most people-focused leaders. Current leadership is technically strong but lacks essential people management and empathy skills. There's a visible culture of favoritism, credit-hoarding, and internal politics — people doing real work are often overlooked during appraisals. Communication is poor and often time-wasting. Instead of inspiring teams, leadership behavior is demotivating. Workplace Culture: The previously collaborative and open culture has eroded. There’s an increase in internal political maneuvering, favoritism, and cliques forming among senior leaders. Honest and hard-working employees often feel powerless or pushed aside. What used to be a high-trust, empowering workplace has become hierarchical and political. Remote Work & Office Location: Office is in a poorly connected, unpopular city location — chosen seemingly for leadership convenience, not employee preference. Despite the subpar office location, remote work policies are overly strict and inflexible. A significant portion of employees would prefer a hybrid or remote-first setup, which is ignored. Workplace Services: On-site food and basic services have deteriorated. Office experience is far from what a global tech company should provide. If leadership from other regions visited unannounced, they’d be disappointed at the disparity.
