Pros

Besides working alongside some very smart and humble people, being able to work for a company whose products positively impact society is really gratifying. A lot of companies call themselves "mission-driven" but from my first day at OpenGov I finally understood what that really meant. Working for a start up can be challenging at times but because the work is so rewarding and our leaders are so inspiring it really makes you want to go the extra mile.

Growing company that has the right people, values, and mission to truly modernize government through their product, services, & support. OpenGov is a team of very committed employees that believe in the mission to power more effective & accountable government. It's very inspirational to see the level of commitment that employees have for each other & the customers they serve. The experience of the leadership & the Board that advises them is very impressive. While a relatively young company, the level of focus on operational efficiency is unparalleled. It feels like OpenGov is well positioned to dominate the ERP market in years to come.

Cons

Young company that is still figuring out how to scale effectively, but they have the right leadership in place to do it right. OpenGov is a fast moving company, so you need to be ready to bring it as you're working with very committed team members.
