The starting pay will get you in the door.

Cons

The professional level of this company is low. There is no accountability within the ranks and all act like sharks but not to their benefit. It is a gross culture and can see it being a huge downfall of the company; will 100% result in mediocre talent pool. They will rush to get you in the door only to continue their high turn over rate. This is why they have some of the lowest ratings for government used software.

Good base pay for entry level, pretty easy role overall

Cons

Leadership team. The leadership team is composed of referrals from executives who take advantage of referral bonus. Their only goal is to IPO and they have no desire to support current staff. HR is comprised of said employees, and you will be reprimanded for reporting misconduct from anyone in leadership. There is no growth, they will pretend to want to develop staff but will bring on outside hires whenever a position opens up regardless of your performance or tenure. No 401k, and bad fraternity style culture where your leadership’s personal networks are the most taken care of. Use this place for experience on the resume then RUN.

Competitive pay; stock options; fun culture; support from others is common; and growing company with clear path to an IPO.

Cons

Government SaaS is unique and might not be for everyone. Working with governments can be complicated at times and has a larger learning curve. No 401(k) matching. No obvious growth structure for promotions.
