Frankenstein Has No Partners

Pros

Good work life balance. Good / nice co-workers

Cons

Lots of acquisitions that are bolt on (Frankenstein) to the other products weather they make sense (synergy?) or not. This is a maintenance revenue driven company. They care more about their maintenance stream they then do about innovations. Without acquisitions, they would not be showing growth. The CEO is a micro manager that does not believe in leveraging partners.

Pros

Great social environment for working with people I like.

Cons

We buy all these companies, go through staff reductions even firing the entire staff of the companies we buy, then sell out support to India. OT is an asset management company and not a software company. Slavish devotion to stock price will eventually destroy this company, or have it sold to another company in a moment of absolute irony.

Pros

Workplace and facilities is good

Cons

- No value for employees - Top performers are being removed due to hearsays - Those who question the decision of the onshore team are being asked to leave. They do not consider or even listen to the opinion of their employees in Manila. - They do not anticipate the consequences of anything they rollout (process change, role change, reorganization) - They treat their employees as robots that should know what to do without proper training - If you work here expect information overload and be burned out from all the work. Better look for another company.
