Pros

Customer focus where the sales management focus on getting deal close. Close relationship with SAP and getting deals from SAP most of the time.

Cons

1. Once you are acquired by Opentext, get ready to lose your job. After my company was acquired, most of the product management, marketing, sales, presales got retrenched. The company goes low on licensing and highly focused on generating revenue from professional services rendered to customer. 2. Company was saying they want to be employee focus and friendly but the next day, major worldwide retrenchment happens right in front of you.

Pros

Ability to work remote depending on position

Cons

Non-existent management and guidance. Same role in different region has different expectations. Performance metrics, for some positions, include a factor that is completely based on luck. This completely skews the opportunity for meeting your numbers compared to your peers. Managers, who you don't report to, can influence how your performance is viewed even though you do not report to them nor do they ever speak to you. Lastly, benefits costs increased considerably after acquisition. No attractive benefits with this company, everything from vacation to health benefits.
