Pros

Profitable with good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Not employee focused. Penny-wise and pound foolish. Micromanagement from highest levels. Employee skills and experience aren't considered in layoff decisions.

Pros

Soda fountain, relaxed office, direct manager is one of the best, friendly coworkers

Cons

Company was bought out in late 2018. New upper management is horrible. They do not have the customer's best interests at heart. Would rather skimp on infrastructure and support for a bigger paycheck. Laid off 600 employees just to say that we are in the company's best fiscal year to-date, financially. Outdated hardware that causes massive system failures weekly (Disrupting customer data is the norm). Many customers have fled the company and went elsewhere due to lack of support. (One support queue went from ~30 tickets to ~500 tickets due to lack of team members). Multiple 'one-person' teams that are in charge of entire platforms. New company switched everything to 'proprietary' software, which significantly decreased productivity since it is all poorly designed. Poor compensation and lack of appreciation from upper management.
