Good & Bad

Pros

For the most part, those on the front lines are great to work with, especially my direct peers.

Cons

Upper management appears to see most things through the lens of racism and DEI. The organization is pretty top-heavy. The small size of the approvals that have to go all the way up to the CEO for a decision It fairly pretty stunning. Why are there so many managers at so many levels if the smallest of decisions have to funnel all the way up to be made by Mark Barrenechea (CEO)? The low star rating below on "Diversity & Inclusion" is not because it is ignored at OpenText, but rather because of it is oppressively overemphasized ... we are regularly being lectured to about it.

Pros

Good Support Team at OpenText.

Cons

Management Team manages upstream to cover their derrières. AEs are on their own to fend for themselves with internal resources. Immediately report did not know the process. When asked for direction- I was told to call a rep.

Pros

Networking opportunities: Most people are very friendly; immediate managers 'usually' have your back

Cons

Growth by acquisition makes it hard to 'get ahead' in sales and AR reports. Constant turnover in sales in the more complex groups.
