Pros

Great immediate team. Good work-life balance. Industry standard compensation.

Cons

Horrific top-down company. EVPs/SVPs are toothless. Everything has to be approved by the CEO/CTO, who is an extremely self-centered megalomaniac. The sales comp plan was whittled down to a quasi-company bonus program. Every sales oriented professional is probably polishing up their resume as I type this. Layoffs are a regular occurrence. Product strategy is non-existent. This 3rd tier software company with a portfolio centered around document management tried absorbing a company of the same size with a highly diverse portfolio, and failed miserably. Stay away. When they lay you off, expect to be cheated out of you already miserable severance.

Thank you for your feedback. As the company grows through acquisition, there will unavoidably be some duplication in roles which may lead to team structure rebalancing to ensure that the appropriate level of skill is attributed to each area of the business. As and when these changes may happen, information is provided to employees as early as possible in line with legal requirements. We try as much as possible to support team members in finding opportunities in other areas of the business, should their areas be impacted by restructuring.
