poor people mgmt. Although the strategy is defined, but not very clear to employees. Lower than market salary. low increases unless you push and fight

Flexible hours, unlimited sick time including doctors appointments, PTO is given upfront for the whole year (no accrual).

Cons

Very limited career development opportunities, no bonuses, extremely small raise each year, poor benefits.

Pros

> This was my first job, and I'm proud to say this was my first. > Numerous benefits, great start for fresh graduates. > Bosses that act as leaders and enablers to push you towards success. They make you feel comfortable, value your worth as an employee, and treat you like family. > Colleagues both Juniors/Seniors who treat you respectfully, value your time and opinion, and help you whenever you need urgent assistance. > Great workplace environment both on-site and remote. > Lots of opportunities for career growth and development.

Cons

> After working for 4 years, the compensation remained in the low range with only a few increases here and there. > Accurate and up-to-date training materials are still hard to come by despite their innovations in adding tools and other documentation to simplify work. Still, there is a need for more training materials on specific topics or lessons that are specific to a certain type of task. Most of the time, we just ask senior resources for help a the fastest way, but it becomes a struggle when a resource leaves the company and doesn't leave any notes or documentation. > They had this slow shift of merging roles into one (end-to-end) since 2019 to keep up with the changes and advancement in the data information scene, basically what was once 5 or more roles are now rolled into one. You're the Analyst, Developer, QA, Integrator, and Enabler in the new "Consultant" role. > Since the introduction and implementation of the end-to-end policy, many employees have struggled to keep up with the pace especially those who got hired initially to a single role. More noticeably the newly hired or less tenured resources cause them to eventually leave or worse get hit by attrition later on. > I've heard rumors that other teams or departments are not that lenient and considerate when it comes to remote work arrangements which created a rift between the team managers and upper management. > Not much of a con but if you're not into end-to-end EDI (similar to a full stack developer) with a side of administrative tasks outside of your original role, you might struggle a bit with the pacing of work and learning new skills relevant to the role you're hired.
