Pros

- £200 Fitness + Health Reimbursement - Co-worker bonding over distain for the CEO - Many workers at opentext I have been involved with have been great, especially some in support who have directly reached out to assist, they probably understand the imprtance of lifting the burden of working at OT from their fellow employees

Cons

- £200+ lost due to stripping of holiday, complete disregard for progression and payrise, travel costs related to enforced RTO for absolutely no benefit The CEO is an unbearable self-involved man, spewing utopic ideologies of the way things will never be at his company. There is a substantial disconnect between management and employees, with a complete disregard for nurturing a healthy work environment or any meaningful progress. When Acquired by opentext, a consistent stream of misfortunes were enforced on the employees: - Synchronisation of salary progression: (There will be no salary reviews for the foreseeable future) - Alignment of Holiday policies (Any holiday you may have gained through hard work and tenure will be stripped from you) - Streamlining of the workforce (If we can, we'll let you go) I was given the chance to be put on a training course just before being acquired by opentext. The Instructor was very charismatic and enthusiastic. The sessions were some of the most involving and useful training I have experienced. This course was abruptly shut down by the gracious overlords, and the excellent instructor was let go. There was comprehensively no effort made by opentext to provide any training of there own to replace these opportunities. There has been no indication of any growth opportunities, This is replaced by a completely mis-founded faith in AI, and an erroneous push to involve it in all aspects of the company, even where not wanted or needed. Opentext senior management, you have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting

Thank you for your feedback. As the organization evolves and we go through a period of transition, there is a lot of information shared with employees, which we understand can be confusing at times, for some. Leaders have regular meetings to discuss important topics and keep abreast of the latest developments. We welcome feedback from employees to understand what improvements can be made around sharing information, as we grow.
