Pros

Opsview is a very rewarding place to work. I always felt appreciated at all levels of the company. Being able to make a difference - and make it quickly - was one of the most positive aspects to working at Opsview. Opsview has a great customer list, working in a small to midsize company allows you exposure to these type of accounts you wouldn't usually deal with outside of a larger enterprise. I was able to grow significantly professionally during my time at Opsview; I received appropriate training (internal and external) which was aligned to my career goals. Aiding my career progression, was the sense of culture that permeates from the top downwards. Opsview has a great team culture, and when I left, I felt like I was saying goodbye to an extended family.

Cons

Unlike many firms, the management team is responsive to feedback and goes to great lengths to ensure they react positively to feedback when I felt change or an issue needed to be raised.

Pros

Forward looking business with a real focus on growing talent and building skills. Approachable leadership team open to new ideas and criticism. Good at recognising and awarding hard work and achievements.

Cons

Less opportunities for career progression due to current size of business.

Pros

Monitoring is a field that is both complex and ever-growing and working for Opsview means that you get to experience developing, supporting, and building non-trivial solutions across a range of technologies and skills. There is lots to learn and there are many opportunities to develop one's skill set. The people are also great to work with and you will undoubtedly become friends with your colleagues.

Cons

The time zone difference between the UK and US offices can make communication a challenge at times.
