Pros

- professionally challenging and fulfilling - great co-workers that are supportive of each other - fast-pace is exhilarating - work culture is positive and forward-looking - management encourages all to contribute to constantly improving how things get done - if there is a better way, management is open to ideas. - management is trying to make Optima a great place to work - overall work cultural is positive feels like a large family business that is progressive, rather than a corporate mentality, dominated by bureaucratic methods - high standards of quality work in all disciplines is the norm, and all are committed to deliver - there is a recent commitment to make the workplace more enjoyable while maintaining Optima’s fast pace productivity level

Cons

- life/work balance is hard to achieve as Optima’s fast-pace frequently requires long hours to get the work done - at times decisions by management on schedules and expectations are established without regard to the impact/cost on family life of employees. -

Management listens to employees. Family-owned company with a culture of respectable values and work ethic. Good work life balance.

Cons

Some of the benefits and systems are old-fashioned, such as the PTO policy.

Very disorganized, doesn’t know property management, very expensive benefits, caters to long term employees that have no knowledge of the industry.
