Pros

They have decent pay, average benefits, and some great coworkers. Remote working was adequate for work-life balance until recent changes in coverage.

Cons

No support or professional regard for nurses, and, despite it being a pharmacy-driven business, nurses are as core as the pharmacy team. No support for professional development, continued education, or career ladder for nursing staff. Job descriptions, bonus structure, and commission structure change often. They will cut commissions out during quarters after you have worked to sell those options, so they don't have to pay commissions or bonuses: poor vacation and PTO time. Cross-coverage requirements create poor work-life balance.

Pros

Can say that not every day is the same and can be quite challenging for those who enjoy that. In addition, doing a job that helps others in need is always fulfilling in knowing that you are positively contributing to society.

Cons

Excessive hours can be hard. However, I am in a management position where that is pretty standard everywhere. Hourly workers tend to have a more favorable schedule, I personally don't have any complaints about my position as a leader's job is never done and enjoy the challenges that come my way.

Pros

Option Care Health has been a great place to grow into a career. Supportive, evolving, developmental, unique, and rewarding are all words that are appropriate for our workspace. I've been presented with quite the opportunity to work amongst a multidisciplinary team locally and across the country to achieve common goals. In the last few years, the company has made a strong push towards diversity and inclusion. That includes focused emails from individuals across various spectrums of race, background, and orientation. That was accompanied with an extra day off each year which emphasized the importance of that department's recognition.

Cons

The hardest part of the job is accommodating often strong business volume while still delivering high level customized care.
