Pros

OptionsCity has built sophisticated software in options analytics and trading. A lot of expertise on the development team and a great place to learn cutting-edge trading and financial technology. The company rewards employees and provide advancement opportunities. It is nice to hear “good job” on a new feature. There are no layers for the message to get lost. A lot of good, hard working people. Daily lunch, fun events after work.

Cons

Dealing with real-time trading issues can be stressful at times. Lots of competing priorities as the industry is changing fast. Communication within the company could be improved.

micro managers who don't understand time to build sales. too much turnover. 15% per year. not much room to grow.

Pros

Good team environment within the support group. The training process to learn the software you will support is very dynamic. The pay for this position seems in line for a trade support specialist. The company buys lunches for all employees daily.

Cons

The software is very buggy which keeps the phones ringing constantly. It is hard to keep up with the flow of the calls and emails coming in daily.
