It is apparent that KKR is trying to "unload" Optiv and is trying to change the business model to attract potential acquisition.

My manager was narcissistic and abusive. He would tell me I was aggressive and had “emotional baggage” that I needed to deal with. He would hide my good performance from other leaders and take credit for my hard work. He would encourage other male leaders to make sexual jokes toward women. He laughed when I told him what I wanted my salary to be. That should have been my warning sign. Working for this person diminished my confidence, and ruined my personal outlook on my career. I was petrified to tell HR because he was so well liked by those that didn’t report to him, and he was friends with the HRBP. No one was sad when he left. There was a sigh of relief, even. Optiv hired this person. Keep that in mind as you at evaluating your own hiring manager at optiv.
