Pros

I don't like being vague but at this point everything has been amazing. My hiring manager to the interview team and last but not least, Cyndi Bednar, TA team member. Without Cyndi, we would have never made it through the process with such speed and efficiency. Her skills/abilities were next to none, she was kind and professional. Always making sure to update everyone and not let things stagnate. From the start, getting the verbal and accepting the written was fast and efficient. I didn't have to wait on hard copies or physical signatures from team members. Definitely look for Cyndi's name when going through the process and make sure to ask for her.

Cons

New hire and nothing to report at this time. However, I'm very honest and will definitely update this with facts, if any come to light. However, I've worked for a great deal of companies throughout my life, and believe me this by far one of the top tier places to be. Cheers.

Pros

I had the unique opportunity to work in a contractor position with Accuvant for 6 months before being hired on full time with the completion of the merger to what is now Optiv. I guess you could say I was able to "test the waters" before making the plunge. As with any merger, there were changes. However, what I was impressed about from the beginning was the way I felt I was being included in the changes that were being made. I was not even an actual "employee", yet my opinion was asked for various changes that were being made. I have been through other mergers and/or acquisitions with other companies and this one was by far one of the best. Seeing the processes that were being used and the communication that was going on amongst people made it a very easy decision for me to join the company when given the opportunity.

Cons

I work remotely, but I am a people person and like to put a face to a name. I would love to see more opportunities for those working remotely to get together with other people in their region. I believe this could help people have a better understanding of what other people in different areas of the company do.

Pros

I started working at Optiv, formerly with Accuvant, about two months ago. I have received about $25,000 worth of classroom training on everything from Ethical Hacking to Firewalls! Seriously, what other company does that?? I'm sure there are others out there but they come few and far between. The atmosphere here is very laid back and inviting. I work on the Sprint Campus, in Overland Park, so my views are pretty good! I recommend this company to all of my friends and family. I'm actually proud to tell people where I work and what I do.

Cons

I can't think of any cons besides the health insurance change. It's still pretty good but not as good as it was before.
