Pros

I have nothing positive to say.

Cons

Management is completely unethical. The company advertises about their "mission" "culture" "compassion" -- it is all shade in mirrors, lip service. Management says they are servant leaders, when they are not because they put policy before employee compassion and treat you with disrespect and disregard. I would rather live in poverty then work at their corporate office.

Pros

- Telecommuting - "Potential" Bonus's in March - Huge company that some individuals can get lost in the 380,000 person company, and earn a check not doing much - Not in the pure health insurance space

Cons

- Hugely Bureaucratic and Inefficient Don't expect to get anything done "quickly" without escalations, ServiceNow Tickets, and/or War Rooms! - Tons of unnecessary process, corporate training, reviews, goals, CLL's, Service Management, PLM, IRM, and overall process, that is overkill - Micro-managed due to escalations of the above that take IMMEDIATE priority over everything else that you are working on.

Pros

Great benefits, obviously the most inexpensive/ high quality group insurance you could ever ask for!

Cons

No room for growth. As many budding medical coders, I tried the "get my foot n the door" approach, and found many fellow coders still in the collections department for many years, who originally came with the same idea! Newly certified coders that I knew personally, applied directly to the coding department and actually got in! However, I was told, as were many others, that I would have to leave and gain 2 years of coding experience, and then apply to the coding department. This is the same company that "encourages " personal growth and development, and claims to want to guide individuals to explore different departments and opportunities from the inside. Highly contradictory, honestly.
