Rush EAP callers through

Business Outlook

Pros

good pay and vacation time

Cons

callers wanting to speak with counselors "consultants" are rushed through and encouraged to turn to apps and deep breathing rather than rely on the healing that comes from accurate listening, but the volume of calls does not allow for that. some callers given auths for counseling which are then rescinded and callers are understandably upset. huge staffing shortage. this took a physical toll. on me.

Pros

Telecommute or work from home

Cons

Schedule - hard to get off working at least one weekend day every week It's essentially an overpaid switchboard operator position - half of the calls are misrouted and meant for customer service
