Pros

Good pay. Extensive opportunities for training. Accommodates telecommuters.

Cons

Poor health benefits, and pay outs have to be fought for. Record profits but layoffs still happen. No profit sharing or bonuses for team success. Rigid pay grades with little direction in how to advance.

Pros

It is a job with much varied and unexpected turns. No two days are the same.

Cons

It is a high pressure sales job. Initially this is not how it was presented. There are areas other than management that are also required. These duties do not lower your sales goal. The sales goal becomes unrealistic and your success at those tasks does Not count toward your accomplishments, even when you get recognition for those accoplishments.
