Pros

Working remotely. Benefits. Compensation package.

Cons

IT department is not well educated and each employee handles requests differently. One IT person may take 5 minutes to reset a password, another may take up to an hour. When software is updated, they do not have any written instructions and fumble through the requests until they figure it out.

Pros

Bagels on Fridays, very good coffee machine

Cons

Management don't care about their employees. Management asked us to work nights , holidays and weekends, management did not tell us when is our last, he asked me to work on a weekend before they laid me off. Contacted HR multiple time never gotten a straight up answer. I want to see her in person but security did not allowed me there. I was only one person who worked the longest on that project and only 2 people including me were laid off. There is corruption all over the place in QSSI instead of firing people they move them from one project to another (They know PMs and Leads there), but for me they did intensive interview process and said i wasn't selected. I spend fours years in this company i took time from my family just to finish the work i was assign for and they treated me like i am unnecessary thing. Very disappoint. If you ever get a job offer from this company stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros

Most peers were good to work with and pulled together to meet very tight, unrealistic deadlines.

Cons

Where do I start? 1) Most managers are not trained in how to manage a team. 2) Friends and family are hired for most jobs, but some are not qualified for the positions they fill. Those folks learn on the job, which is very painful if they are managing you. 3) Fly by the seat of your pants is the process used not CMMI like their website claims. One of their key projects was barely CMMI 2. 4) English is not the main language spoken in the office. Management had to send out an email requesting that people speak English in the office. 5) Long hours, no weekends or holidays are common on high profile projects. 6) Poorly managed projects. Administrative overhead monies (I.e - salaries) were spent on one project, so employees were moved or let go. I could go on but you get the picture. Avoid this place unless you have absolutely nothing else on the horizon!
