Pros

They will let you up to go to restroom for 15 minutes twice in an 9 hour day, if it is convenient for them.

Cons

Most horrific group of managers who have been there forever and for fun pick on the abc care advocates. If you need off for an emergency, forget it. You sit at desk 9 hours with 30 min lunch and two breaks and they call when you are gone to make sure you are not a second late. You cannot take a rest or break ever because they monitor you every second IF you are on the phone with a client too long, they will send texts saying your are over the time. To stressful

Pros

Pay is on par with most other call center jobs Work From Home Extra money is thrown on during mandatory OT Voluntary Time Off when it's not busy Company paid internet for work and nice computer set up

Cons

Typical call center just looking for bodies to fill seats Micromanaged especially with the sentiment score which is questionable in itself as it's a artificial algorithm More than half of training class has already quit Health Benefits are horrible considering it's owned by United Health Group Training is horrible it might as well not even exist, you learn very little to nothing except for 6 weeks of looking at outdated PDF's and slides nearly two weeks of that is just tech issues and things not related to the job at all. You will receive 10 different answers on the simplest things which should be standard operating procedures. Knowledge Base articles are horribly written and designed Client procedure documents/information is often missing or so vague you have no clue what is going on with that plan Claim they want you to just take care of the member but then start messaging you to hurry up on a call Confusing Mail Order system which should be a straight forward process instead of attempting to guess what needs to be done Internal departments can be very rude when reaching out for assistance List goes on...

Pros

The pay is nice I guess.

Cons

This company does not give one rats butt about you. I am a college student and when I was recruited by this company, I told the recruiter that I cannot do 40 hours as I have school. They said no worries we can work with your schedule. Come time to set schedules (which was three weeks into training) they let me know that I am required to do 40 hours. I was required to either quit or do 4 10 hour shifts. And well I’m a student so I needed the money. About 2 weeks in, management lets me know that I am now required to stay an extra hour of over time for the next two weeks as it is “peak season”. I take 60 calls a day that is not peak season. Then I am now required to do 2 hours of overtime in the new year. No one cares. It’s required after all. No ifs or butts. I was hired on for the agreed amount of 36 hours, not god dang 48 hours. The upper management also all has a customer service voice that they even use on the employees. Because again. No one cares.
