Big place can be just a number

I am experiencing a toxic work environment within my team. Despite my efforts to transfer to another team, my requests have been consistently denied, citing that my presence is essential. Attempts to communicate with other teams have been unsuccessful due to my manager's refusal to release me. Even after escalating the issue to senior levels, no assistance was provided. Recently, I received a performance rating that now hinders my ability to move to other teams, which feels unjust and deliberate. This situation has left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. Adding to this, my manager has now suggested that I search for opportunities elsewhere, which feels particularly vile given the circumstances.
