      Pros

      You have a lot of freedom to determene how best to contribute to account teams you work with. This means you can have signifcant impact without people telling you how to do your job.

      Cons

      Can be very bureaucratic. The culture is very political with individuals and groups continuously jockeying for position. Virtually no opportunity for career progression. I was warned that the level you enter Oracle at is the level you leave and so far, this has been my experience.

      The opportunity to work and learn from the best in the industry. Development team much more accessible when you are an employee and not an outsider

      Cons

      Huge company. Sometimes it seems as if you are only a drop in a bucket. A lot of pressure put on regional managers/etc... to dissuade these feelings
