      Pros

      Being surrounded by smart people who help each other on the projects is one of the best reasons to work for Oracle. You can pick up necessary skillsets for system implementations easily with unlimited resources and free learning tools. Traveling is almost 100% as a consultant. If you like traveling, this is where you want to be.

      Cons

      Oracle will do whatever it takes to reach profit margin. Even if it means placing a freeze on promotions and taking away your bonuses in order to make new acquisitions. They will make you work until you drop.

      - Huge company with a worldwide presence - Great benefits - A lot of smart people - HQ campus exudes Silicon Valley energy

      Cons

      My experiences working at several different groups within Oracle were night and day. One group was composed of young and inexperienced managers, which led to an overall low group morale while the other group consisted of a seasoned group of managers that ran a tight ship. Oracle is so big that it cannot be overridden by one culture. Your experience will defined by your team, managers, and group culture.
