      The people at Oracle are very nice and I like the way employees interact.

      Pros

      Most of the people are great. In general the management style is laid back and positive. Depending on your role there are lots of opportunities to interact with different teams, see different processes and network. One of the nicest things is the ability to work from home some of the time (this varies between employee, departments, etc).

      Cons

      Oracle does not provide very many opportunities for advancement as far as training. It is also difficult to receive significant raises without leaving Oracle and then coming back.

      Great place to work but will come at sacrifice of personal life

      Pros

      Highly professional work place, surrounded with dedicated and successful people, growing and stable company, challenging work and generally easy going management styles as long as work is performed.

      Cons

      The work day and work week sometimes have no ending. Pay is good but not as good as the pay at other comparable companies. Due to size of the company the internal bureaucracy can be stifling. People in lower positions can be difficult to work with because at times they exhibit more of a robotic mindset instead of thinking outside of the box to match a dynamic situation.
