Pros

Great hours (school hours), great students, helpful and friendly coworkers, decent pay for the job as it's mostly not too difficult. For the most part people really care about the students and their responsibilities.

Cons

Depending on the classroom, behaviors can be difficult and overwhelming for someone with lack of training, as initial training is minimal. Some would say the pay is low (it probably is lower during the year than it is in the summer).
