      In tech, employees are encouraged & assisted to keep skills up, not just technically but also in leadership, communication, agile development, etc.

      Cons

      Leadership gaps happen in some projects, especially when multiple teams are involved. There are ongoing efforts to deal with specialization silos.

      Pros

      Working at Orbitz in a highly collaborative environment is just amazing. What keeps it interesting, besides the great people, are the interesting challenges, cutting edge technology, and the focus on delivering value to our customers as quickly as possible.

      Cons

      Sometimes it takes too long to get things done, but it's all relative. Each year we get better than the last and the desire to continuously improve is a good thing too.
