      Pros

      The people, product and environment given it was in chicago and there are very few tech company options.

      Cons

      Too much emplasis on making numbers especially when it was owned by Blackstone. Management was very transactional and not too focused on long-term needs of the company.

      Pros

      It's a casual environment, with smart people, the politics are minimal (in most areas), and for the most part you are only limited by your own ambition. -flexible schedule -decent tech company perks (foosball, pop machines, breakfast, onsite activities) -TRAVEL DISCOUNTS! -Low politics/most people are straight up -cool technology

      Cons

      -Fair amount of turnover at the SLT level. Much of the SLT is non-technical and doesn't always "get it" -Smaller groups can have limited opportunity for advancement -Some dead wood, but doesn't get in the way :) -Not always clear why people get promoted. At times there seems to be a culture of failing upwards.
