      Good ideas implemented wrong turn into bad ideas.

      Pros

      Orkin is a place that a person can can grow and create a career with persistence, determination, and hard work.

      Cons

      Latest management changes have implemented a system of driving the senior staff (Over 40) out of the company to recruit lesser paid, “young blood.”

      We appreciate your tenure and service with our organization. You hit the mark about our purposeful careers and that Orkin is looking to bring in the next generations of talent. However, bringing in new talent is designed to be a complement to our tenured team members, not as you state driving current staff out. For example, new talent can diversify our workforce in the areas of women in non-traditional industries, attracting transitioning military, graduating students and those with experience outside our industry.       Pros

      The company gives you an amazing opportunity to grow. Their training is the best I’ve seen in my career. They’ve sent me to Atlanta several times to learn about the industry as well as leadership skills. I proud to work for Orkin.

      Cons

      I can find things that I don’t like about any company I work for. So far I’ve had really positive experiences with Orkin. There are some initiatives that can be difficult to implement at field level, but I’ve experienced this in all large Corporations I’ve worked for.
