      Pros

      There are some good people that are willing to help if need be. The pay seems to be higher than the industry average.

      Cons

      Everyone is overworked. The branch is horribly understaffed, and branch and region management has a "do whatever it takes" attitude that results in 12 hour days or more for most employees and unrealistic expectations. The cronies in upper management want services to be done properly, but are unwilling to give employees enough time to perform the task. If you want to have a reasonable workload or try to gain family time you are labeled a lazy person. The benefits are mediocre at best.

      Pros

      Great commission structure, very thorough training, and management team is super supportive.

      Cons

      If you want work to home life this may not be for you. It is a very strenuous job, but if you put in the time it does get easier

      Pros

      Orkin pays well and having a company vehicle saves a lot of money. The vehicle goes home with you every day as well. I love being able to make my own schedule. Don't usually have to work holidays or most weekends. Orkin provides all the training and even pays for the licensing.

      Cons

      Starting pay isn't that great, but increases significantly once you are licensed. You must be willing to put in a lot of hours to get everything done. It can be stressful at times, due to customers. You are on call about one weekend a month and be willing to respond at any time. The company keeps adding more and more things to our plates.
