      Ridiculous Expectations

      Pros

      The job is hands on and can't be outsourced to China.

      Cons

      Expect everyone to sell their soul for the job. TEchnicians work day/night split shifts sometimes, sometimes work at 4-4:30 AM due to customer demands but still expect you to answer phone til 6 PM, managers somehow forced to work 24/7 365. One manager got yelled at because he didn't answer e-mail Sunday night at 6:30. Lucky so far we haven't class act sued them.

      Pros

      The best about Orkin is the pay, but you have to fight for hours so the pay can be minimal at times.

      Cons

      Mostly everything, not a family oriented company, no advancement, no leadership, management does not care about their employees only their bottom line.

      Pros

      Territories, management is easy to work with, very flexible, great perks like company car, phone, iPad, laptop, a lot of tools to help you become successful.

      Cons

      Upper management is very unorganized and doesn't see value in quality vs quantity. When errors are made the turn around time to making them right is a slow delayed process.
