Pros

I have been nothing but impressed with this company. A lot of companies boast about "transparency" and "accountability", but this company lives it. I am not afraid to address concerns to my supervisor and feel that I have a voice to express ideas for improvement or change. My direct supervisor has been professional and up front with feedback both good and bad. I have never felt afraid to communicate problems or projects I'm struggling with. Some companies say they promote healthy workplaces, but in reality what disseminates is a culture that feels like working in a mine field. Not so here. In addition, the organization's people team spends a decent amount of effort making sure employees are engaged with each other as a team, planning employee events like outings to restaurants and holiday parties, drawings for movie tickets and sports games and little contests. That in itself has been impressive.

Cons

The nature of our department and program is that it is constantly changing and sometimes adapting to that is difficult. We have to change the way we do our jobs every so often and it takes some flexibility.
