Pros

Multiple locations throughout the Carolinas, 1 hour lunches

Cons

There is little to no room for advancement within the company, the compensation is far too low considering company expectations, and your overall success within the company all depends on who you know. I have been with the company for several years and have applied for positions that actually align with my qualifications . I have either not been contacted back about the positions or have interviewed simply based on HR's need to acquire a specific number within the applicant pool. People without the required qualifications are typically hand-picked and hired based on specific "cliques". Also, there is an obvious lack of diversity within the company (and I am not even apart of the minority) - from the physicians to practice managers to support staff members. It is especially disturbing to have a lack of diversity within the areas of management and medical providers. The training department/process is absurd; newly hired employees are sent to their sites unprepared and untrained due to the structure of the training program. The training courses are sporadically offered about once per week for about a month which is not beneficial at that point because site administrators have been required to train. The company and providers are so concerned about bringing in revenue, that other areas are less than effective. There is also such an unbelievable disconnect among the physicians/PAs and their support staff. It is almost as if the providers are 'above' all others within the organization. The IT systems are rarely ever functioning properly which affects how well employees are able to do their jobs. Lastly, it is more than obvious that the executives and administrators are not knowledgeable about business components that would help the company thrive. The doctors own and run the company - and it shows!

Pros

Great co-workers, flexible with time off, good continuing education opportunities, excellent equipment and medical records. Workplace provides up to date facilities, staff and training.

Cons

Driven to be a successful business first, provide for patients second, and employees third. Leadership is somewhat handicapped by the fact that this is a physician owned and operated company; therapy is an ancillary service. While I believe it is possible to give good quality care in this environment it is not the primary focus of the company.

Pros

New director has informed employees to report anything office managers do and she will make sure that they are dealt with. Prior director believed everything management told them

Cons

Only prompted if you are friends with those already in higher management. African American has no chance for promotion. I have been employed with this company for over 10 years applied more than 8 positions and never received a call or interview for any of the positions.
