Gross, just gross.

Pros

Great coworkers & employees, they really care about the financial professionals they serve

Cons

New leadership is just bad. turned a great place to work into miserable low-trust, watch your back environment. Execs care about their ipo payouts & act like mafia bosses, kiss the ring or get stuffed in a trunk. Employees are told to engage advisors but execs prefer engage between themselves like middle school mean girls. Cronyism/favoritism drive promotions & growth opportunities. It's so gross, many employees including me are actively looking elsewhere. pay is really poor (unless you were hired from LPL) compared to the rest of the industry, I made more working in an advisor's office. (Not an osaic Advisor btw)

We are sorry your experience with Osaic has not been a positive one. Leadership matters to us and we are consistently developing managers and leadership for creating the best culture for the business. We take your comments serious and would be happy to sit down and discuss specific concerns and how we make your environment better. We notice you are still an employee here, so hopefully we still have a chance to have a discussion. Please reach out to your HR business partner or directly to our Chief Human Resources Officer for further discussion.

Pros

PTO: 4 weeks + 5 sick days Average medical/dental/vision Generous Annual bonus - for ALL full time employees at any level. License not required but will pay for you to obtain multiple licenses. Constant growth. Opportunity to expand your knowledge and stretch your skill set. Friendly, hard working people.

Cons

Training might be the most lacking, inconsistent, non-existent in my 30 years of professional experience. This includes competitors as well as different industries. Departments do NOT work together. I’ve never seen anything like it. Serious lack of clearly defined policies and procedures, at both department-execution level of HR policies, down to department procedures directly impacting the advisor experience. Overtime is in constant demand and wearing good workers thin, particularly when the word “mandatory” is used. Chronically understaffed/overworked, though to be fair, that’s industry-wide to some extent, in Operations.

“Thanks for the positive comments, and we hear you on the training and staffing situation. We’re staffing up a special Ops rotating team at this very moment that will provide more coverage, allowing for additional investments in training. In our industry, it’s also not enough to be “the same” as Operations teams elsewhere: our significant investment in Operations is a signal of our commitment to improve the way we interact with customers and to each other.”

Pros

Fully remote if you want it. Lots of time off.

Cons

Seems like no one wants to work here anymore. Everyone is beat down by the expansion and lack of direction by those leading the ship
