Moving in the wrong direction

Pros

Decent snacks in the break room.

Cons

Hired employees just so they could work 80 hour work weeks for 2 years while they completed their "Journey to One" to then lay them all off. Called themselves a Work From Home company and then immediately went back on that, even though every single employee disagreed. The managers liked it so they could tell each other what they did over the weekend face to face, which is very important. They are acquiring companies that they can't financially handle. They are growing way too fast and will realize it soon enough once their private equity owners see the consistent month over month decrease in adjusted EBITA and the waste of money this company is. Also the name change to Osaic was awful, everyone thought I worked at Ozempic, probably would have been better. Accounting department promotions are based on who goes out for drinks with the Director of Accounting after work so I'd suggest being that guy.

Pros

This review is for the division of Osaic that services specifically credit unions-not direct advisor business. No Pros as my experience and situation should never have happened. Oh, wait-there is one Pro. The color green in their Logo is pretty.

Cons

I can only speak for my personal experience. Worked at a CU that interacted with Osaic through a TPO. Osaic was nice to work with. TPO gets by humiliating FA, not listening to complete set of questions, unable to answer those questions and TPO too busy to get answers. No person in a management position should be allowed to treat any employee in the manner that I was treated. Management person is in a position that really can't be monitored so management person, being unsupervised, feels entitled to say anything off the top of their head.

Hilariously incompetent leadership

Pros

Usually paid on time, incompetence of management means that a savvy employee can essentially do whatever they want.

Cons

Employee feedback is requested then ignored. Leadership refuses to take accountability for anything. We hired a branding firm for untold amounts of money, and the result was an SEO friendly name and a plain text logo.
