- "People first" is a publicity stunt that doesn't apply to employees (we are numbers, trucks are numbers).
- Workman's Comp Insurance company will do everything in their power to claim your injuries are personal injuries regardless of what doctors say.
- You can suggest changes over and over (that benefit ergonomics, production, etc) but nothing ever gets done/fixed.
- The ability to work well with others also implies to working well with people who don't work well with others. I've had to work with child molesters, I've been threatened, yelled at
2 inches from my face for no reason or for misunderstandings, had my tools stolen by complicated individuals from other stations who refuse to return them, etc. First shift is even allowed to lock tools away that second shift needs to perform their job duties.
- No room for growth. Once you're at max pay you can bid to other jobs that pay a little more, but even after 15 years in you will not be considered for any office or management position, even if you are well qualified.
