      Incredible Autonomy, Speed, and Talent

      Pros

      Owner gives a significant amount of trust to EPD teams to take big swings at large, ambitious goals and build a roadmap autonomously to hit those goals. This trust is because Owner has an incredibly high bar for talent and really only hires 10x engineers, PMs, and designers. This level of talent and trust lets teams move very quickly to ship high-quality, impactful products.

      Cons

      Not many cons. Owner is a remote-first company, which has the risk of slower velocity, but management takes great pains to ensure a high degree of communication, collaboration and regular in-person team offsites.

      Pros

      - I have yet to meet a single person in any department who is not both insanely impressive and also friendly + compassionate - They legitimately care about their customers. Every employee gets real FaceTime with customers, and is eager to really help their business. - Still genuinely feels like an early startup in terms of velocity and autonomy - Adam is a phenomenal leader, and among the most authentic people I've met. You never feel like he's just reciting a party line or hiding his real thoughts. - They clearly are willing to pay for and reward the great talent they have to keep good people around.

      Cons

      - Expectations are sky high, and it takes real work to meet them. Coasting will not fly here (a con if that's what is important to you).

      - talented people - approachable management - work gets recognized - leadership is human and cares - Company is still early, so there are a lot of amazing problems needing solutions

      Cons

      - don’t join if you like lots of process and going slow - don’t join if you like solving easy problems - don’t join if you prefer to be the smartest person in the room
