      Consistent shareholder return Opportunities for those who fit the "mold" (and generous opportunites, at that) Stable and reliable employment Great place to be if you don't want to be heard

      Cons

      Compensation low; inconsistent, less than impressive raises No COLA No training on the cultural environment, if a political "blunder" is commited or you tell them your opinion (because you are asked...they really do not care), your career is then maimed for the duration. More minorities and women are appearing on the scene - it "feels" like some are promoted just as figureheads and social responsibility.

      Advancement. I was with the company almost 8 years and decided to get my degree to move up in the company. Soon as I tried I started to get put on paperwork(write ups). Same thing happened to another employee. Very racist company no place for minorities. Demands for minorities to advance are unreasonable but they let white men fresh out of college get positions over minorities who been with the company for years and have a degree. If you are a minority avoid at all cost. White men do the least work while they don’t respect minority seniority. Repetitive job, high production, measured on errors, block raises. Management is predominantly white. Horrible culture. Favoritism and nepotism. Minorities have no place at Paccar.

      Cons

      Low pay and dangling the carrot experts that major in micromanaging employees. No hope for advancement if you are not white.
