Excellent products and famous truck nameplates. Very well managed business with minimal internal office politics. The people are smart, accessible, have a lot of common sense, and are very good to work with in general. It is a results-oriented place that celebrates success.

Cons

Advancement. I was with the company almost 8 years and decided to get my degree to move up in the company. Soon as I tried I started to get put on paperwork(write ups). Same thing happened to another employee. Very racist company no place for minorities. Demands for minorities to advance are unreasonable but they let white men fresh out of college get positions over minorities who been with the company for years and have a degree. If you are a minority avoid at all cost. White men do the least work while they don’t respect minority seniority. Repetitive job, high production, measured on errors, block raises. Management is predominantly white. Horrible culture. Favoritism and nepotism. Minorities have no place at Paccar.
