There used to be some pros, those have all been taken away.

Cons

Lowest pay, horrible benefits, management plays favorites, expected to work ridiculous hours, overburdened with work but never rewarded with merit increases or promotions, overall a horrible work environment.

advanced very quickly from press helper, to 2nd pressmen. Excellent training and learning opportunity, people always willing to help. Able to get along with all employees, in a friendly bit rough around the edges environment. Despite not having any industrial background I was given the chance, opportunity to prove myself. Was great, no phone calls, no cubicle, no computer work, one of the best jobs I ever had.

Cons

not really a con, just a fact of the job. Work with harsh, and dangerous chemicals.
