Pros

The office culture is very positive and collaborative, flexible work hours and work-from-home options aren't great - but at least it's a possibility. Working for PBS is a pleasure, and friends/family always love hearing stories about you got to meet Elmo or Ken Burns.

Cons

There are not very many opportunities for career advancement here, if you want a promotion it's going to be at another company. What's unfortunate is that it's a great place to work, they just don't know how to retain smart and innovative thinkers. The salaries are low, so PBS is very 'director' heavy just to boost the compensation level (as opposed to actual management roles)
