Pros

This company LOVES to feed us! The benefits aren't too bad and some of my co-workers are awesome!

Cons

The post that is written about "Listening to you on glassdoor" is all false. It was posted to see who is writing the negative comments on this site about the company so that individual can be reprimanded. Many employees have voiced their concerns to managers, VPs and SVPs. Theres no changes. This company doesn't hear our concerns and they don't listen. The surely DO NOT do anything about what you say even if its coming from many people about the same issues. They turn a blind eye to the truth that is spoken and try to cover it up. They have said many times that they are listening, even after our yearly company wide survey monkey. They said they were listening. Wheres the changes? Ask better questions and receive better answers about whats really going on. They don't care and some of the VPs are not compassionate. We have spoken many times before about what is important to us and nothing changes, including certain VPs still employed with the company. Our feedback is never important and never reviewed. If the managers and those higher up care, things would have changed. Different questions would be asked on the company wide employee questionnaire, the 360 review would be in place so everyone can evaluate everyone within the department, even the manager. There is also tons of favortisim. You are either loved and the career opportunites are awesome and growth is great. if you are not liked, there is no room for opportunites or growth.

Response from Organizational Development Representative at PFP Your comments are important to us. We are sorry that you feel your concerns have not been heard or addressed. Employee feedback and change are welcomed and have become part of our culture. Most of our new ideas come directly from our employees. That is one reason why we provide an employee engagement survey as one of the many ways we are collaborating with our employees. This provides a forum for honest discussion and ideas. It is also meant to demonstrate our openness to listening as well as our determination to take action and continue to create positive impact together. We have an open door policy for employees to share concerns like this. We would encourage you to bring your matter forward to ensure PFP is aware of what is on your mind so we can address it properly. Please contact hr@familysecurityplan.com so we can learn more about your specific items. We look forward to hearing from you.

Pros

Peers are great, but feel discriminated against.

Cons

PFP discriminates. Poorly run company. Management team is family and close friends. Limited opportunity for advancement.

Thank you for sharing your feelings with us. Diversity, integrity, fair treatment and inclusion are ranked high for us as an employer. We believe the more diverse the team and growth opportunities, the stronger we become. This ultimately results in better products and service for our customers. In fact, through the collaborative efforts of our entire team which includes front line employees, sales coaches, leadership trainees, emerging leaders, managers and senior management this year we expanded again and as a result have more opportunities to grow along with the company. This may be one reason why friends and family join the PFP Team. This year, 40% of new teammates that were hired came from our existing employees who recommended a friend or family member to join. Still we regret that you feel your feedback and suggestions were not being heard while you were a part of the PFP team and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Pros

Some of the co-workers. The benefits and also how very close to work I am. I live just about 5 minutes from work. Its awesome for those dreaded snowy days.

Cons

I have been working with this company for just a short period of time and i have come to realize that you are either a favorite or hated unless you are in management. Those managers are NOT supportive unless you are liked. non management are pawns and not valued. I do my job just enough to not be on the disliked side. I am currently looking for a job after something I witnessed that was unethical. I cannot go to HR as they are of no help.
